• A structured adapted exercise program for adults with physical disabilities that aims to support participants with improving their physical fitness, health, and/or lifestyle
• Prior to participating in the program, a staff member will conduct a program design with each participant to ensure they are given the most appropriate exercise program to meet their individual goals/needs
Alberta Healthy Living Program: Supervised Exercise Program
• Participants are paired with a healthcare professional who will guide them through an exercise program and help the participant develop strategies to overcome barriers, such as pain, that may be preventing them from being physically active
• Group exercise classes may be offered in-person and/or virtually, depending on the area of Alberta the participant resides in
